GENX-1B

The GEnx “next generation” engine model is manufactured by GE Aerospace (USA). The engine entered into commercial service back in 2011. The GEnx-1B family with a thrust range of 57,400 – 80,400 (lbs), is one of two powerplant options available to power the Boeing 787 “Dreamliner” twin-jet, wide-body family of aircraft comprising the B787-8, B787-9 & B787-10.
